For this post I would like for you to find an article (online) that talks about ecotourism.  Please be sure to include a link to the website where you found the ecotourism information and write a paragraph (or two) in response to the article.  What is your opinion of the article?  Make sure that you use an article that nobody else has used yet.

Hello RW3!

We will be starting Unit 5 on Ecotourism next week.  I thought we could start a dialogue about the topic on our blogs.

Let's start with looking at just "Tourism".  What is tourism? Are you from a country that has a lot of tourism?  What is the most popular type of tourism provided?  How about other countries?  What countries have you traveled to?  What types of tourism did you experience or participate in?

Post #7 - BIC "Lady Pens"

Hello All!

Post #7 is here!  We will have a total of ten posts by the end of the semester.  Keep up the great work everyone!  You can do it!  Hang in there!

Today we watched a clip from the Ellen show, where she mocks a new (and real) product from BIC pens, the "Lady Pen".   I have attached a link to the video clip.  Please watch it again and write a post about it.

Think about how you feel about "Lady Pens". Why did it make you feel that way?

What are some key points that Ellen talks about in terms of the women's movement and/or equality?

We have started Unit 4 - Speaking of Gender.  This is my favourite unit of all!  It is very interesting (to me) and I can't wait to talk about it more.

This week please look at the following questions and choose 5 (or more) to answer.
